February Prayer Bulletin

The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Psalm 18:2

We are so thankful to all of you who continue to hold up in prayer those that we help, and our work, each month. We're aware that we couldn't continue to resource churches and charities, and help those in need, without God's presence and provision in all that we do.

This week is Children's Mental Health Week, and we wanted to begin by asking that you join us in prayer for those who are struggling with their mental health, not just for children, but also adults. Those who are struggling or crippled by poor mental health often find themselves in difficult situations with relationships and finances. Please do pray for these individuals to be able to reach out for help, whether that is with their mental health or financial crisis.

We have received many specific prayer requests for those who are suffering with their mental health, and many other difficult circumstances, so please pray for our local partners who are supporting them at this time.

Firstly this month we are very thankful to God for:

Some wonderful connections with other charities and networks, including Faith in Later Life, who support churches to reach out to older people in their communities. Please pray that we can resource these churches through Acts 435 so that they're able to address the specific needs that they might be seeing through their work.

An answer to prayer from last month; our friends at Stewardship are going to feature Acts 435 during their 40acts Lent Resource - Doing Lent Generously. Through one of the daily reflections, and on social media, they're going to encourage individuals to donate through our website. You can sign-up to take part during Lent on their website

The 470 individuals and families who have been helped in January by Acts 435 Advocates and Donors, with £75,985 distributed to those who need it most.

Please join us in praying for:

Our 15th Year, and how we can best celebrate this milestone. Please pray for our first event, which is our Annual Giving Hope Together online gathering. Please also pray for our Founder and Chair of Trustees, Julian Richer, as he speaks, and that we find a variety of local Advocates to share about how they're using Acts 435 in their community.

Our External Friends from other partner charities, networks and church denominations, will also be able to attend our Giving Hope Together event, and be inspired to share us with their networks.

Our team, as we continue to look at how we grow our network of churches and charities, and connect with other charities, organisations and church denominations.

As always, thank you for your prayers for these individuals, our Advocates and for Acts 435 as we seek to do more for those in need in the UK.

God bless,

Katie Greene
