February Prayer Bulletin

But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.
John 4:14

It feels like January has been a month of many parts for us as a charity. We started the month with very few requests for help on our website due to the generosity of donors over the Christmas period. However, during the month we have seen the amount of requests added to our website continually increase, especially as the cold weather continues.

We took a big leap of faith as a charity too as we increased the limit of requests to £200 (it was previously £150). This step was taken because we have been made aware that Advocates, and their recipients, were finding it harder to source larger items, such as white goods, for the previous limit. You can read more about the increase in this limit on our website. Please join us in praying that God would continue to provide through the generosity of our amazing donors, even as the amount increases.

We would appreciate your prayer for our work, and all the points below, but please do continue to lift up those most affected by the cost of living crisis. Please pray that they will find the help and support they need at this time.

Firstly this month we are very thankful to God for:

Our local Advocates who are continuing to help those most in need during these winter months. Pray for health and well being for them.

Recipients who are able to give back to Acts 435 and their local churches/charities. One Advocate writes: "when we explained about Acts 435 to R he immediately offered to help with other clients requests by offering some 'man and a van' time on a voluntary basis. We will pay for his petrol, but how amazing that he offered that before his own request had even been fulfilled!" We're very thankful that Acts 435 doesn't just help individuals, but enables them to offer help too.

Our website developer who has been very quick in making many amendments to our website and systems, which are making processes easier for our donors and staff team.

The 495 individuals and families who have been helped in January by Acts 435 Advocates and donors with £77,515 distributed to those who need it most.

Please join us in praying for:

Our local Advocate Rob who has had to step down from his role due to the ill health of him and his wife. Please join us in praying for healing for them both.

Our staff team and Board of Trustees, as we meet together on Thursday 2nd February. Please pray that it would be a great time to connect together, and that we would have some good discussions around our strategies to find new churches and charities to partner with us, and donors to support our work.

As always, thank you for your prayers for these individuals, our Advocates and for Acts 435 as we seek to do more for those in need in the UK.

Best wishes,
Katie
