July Prayer Bulletin
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Galatians 6:9
This month is a time of huge transition for our charity as we welcome a new member of our team, Nathan (below), who will be our new Digital Content Officer. Please pray for him as he starts this new role, and for all that he needs to learn and pick up over the next few weeks. Rhona also leaves us at the end of July for a new opportunity.

Thank you for your prayers in June, as we held interviews for our new Operations Manager and were able to recruit for this role. We will soon be able to update you about the newest member of the team.
In June we also received a wonderful message of thanks from one of our local partners, which included an answer to a prayer that was shared in a previous Prayer Bulletin:
"I’ve just submitted a new request on Acts 435 for one of the women we support. She’s recently been offered her first paid job as a part-time café assistant in central London and hopes to buy a second-hand bike to help her commute affordably.
When submitting the request, I revisited her previous request from November 2023. At that time, she was still an asylum seeker with no recourse to public funds. In that request, I included a prayer asking, "Please pray for F, that the Home Office will process her asylum claim so that she can move on with her life."
I wanted to share the wonderful news that your prayers were answered, she now has her status and has started her journey into employment. We’re deeply grateful for the continued support from Acts 435."
What an amazing answer to prayer, and a fresh start for this individual. You can read the full story on our website.
Firstly this month we are very thankful to God for:
The milestone of seeing £7,000,000 raised through Acts 435, which was all directly given to those in need.
The opportunity to be a part of the Christians Against Poverty United Conference in the North. It was fantastic to meet many Advocates, those from churches who had never heard of us before, as well as some recipients of help through Acts 435.
A blog written by our friends Stewardship. They have highlighted six charities that are providing gospel hope to those in poverty.
Being able to recruit into the new role of Operations Manager. This new person will oversee a lot of the day-to-day running of Acts 435 so please lift them up in prayer as they begin the role in August.
The 470 individuals and families who have been helped in June by Acts 435 Advocates and Donors, with £78,450 distributed to those who need it most.
Please join us in praying for:
The summer time, which usually tends to be a quieter season. As our team, Advocates and donors take holidays during this time, those in poverty and crisis won't get a break from their situations. Please pray that we're able to keep helping many individuals even through this time.
Our team as we go through a time of transition, and as we welcome two new members to our staff team over the summer months.
A joint letter that we were able to sign alongside 85 other charities, such as the Joseph Rowntree Foundation and Trussell. We came together to stand with disabled people and their organisations, calling on MPs to vote against the Bill proceeding. We are thankful that we can add our voice to these concerns. Please continue to pray for the Government and MPs with these decisions, following the passing of the Bill.
As always, thank you for your prayers for these individuals, our Advocates and for Acts 435 as we seek to do more for those in need in the UK.
Best wishes,
