June Prayer Bulletin
As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.
Genesis 8:22
Acts 435 has seen a quieter month as there are often few events in May. However, we have had lots of team news, and have been busy recruiting. We have been able to recruit a new member of the team into a new communications role (more news to follow), and have begun the process to recruit an Operations Manager, as Rhona moves on from Acts 435 after the summer.
Please pray for our team as we go through much change and transition over the summer and into the autumn. We have been a team of four steadily for the last couple of years. With new team members joining us, we want to make sure that we can solidify team unity quickly, whilst continuing to deliver the best service for our local partners, and for those we seek to help.
Firstly this month we are very thankful to God for:
The opportunity to share our work with the listeners of Pure247 Radio. You can listen to Jenny's interview with them here.
A blog post written by Safe Families, who we partner with very closely. Please pray that their supporters read about the amazing work we are doing together to support families.
A new member of our team who is joining us in the role of Digital Content Officer in July. Please pray for a smooth start, and that they will be an asset to our team.
The 514 individuals and families who have been helped in May by Acts 435 Advocates and Donors, with £84,710 distributed to those who need it most.
Please join us in praying for:
Interviews that we are holding on Friday for the role of Operations Manager. Please pray that God will guide us to make the right decision, and that we find the right fit for our small Head Office team.
Our team as we go through a time of transition, and as we welcome two new members to our staff team over the summer.
A technical glitch on our website, which stopped individuals signing up to our fortnightly mailshots. We have now rectified the issue, but please pray that supporters are gracious about the error.
As always, thank you for your prayers for these individuals, our Advocates and for Acts 435 as we seek to do more for those in need in the UK.
Best wishes,
