May Prayer Bulletin
May the God of hope fill you with joy and peace as you trust him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13
Thank you to those of you who continue to support our work in prayer. It is an essential part of what we do, and how we continue to support individuals in local communities.
We were blessed to be joined by over 50 supporters and partners at our Giving Hope Together event on the 24th April. It was a very encouraging and inspiring event, which included updates and stories. You can still watch this half and hour event here. Please join us in thanking God for all our brilliant supporters and partners that make Acts 435 possible.
Please do pray for those who are struggling on a low income.
This month we have been highlighting the needs of those who are struggling to make ends meet because they are on a low income. Please pray for individuals who are struggling due to a low amount of benefits, or who are simply not receiving enough income from work. On a low income it is often the case that individuals are unable to pay for their bills, or save for when an appliance breaks, or they hit a crisis. Please pray that they can seek
the right help to manage these one-off needs, but that
they can also find the right support to increase their income,
if that's possible.
Firstly this month we are very thankful to God for:
We have just passed the milestone of £8,000,000 raised and distributed to individuals through our partner churches and charities. We're also very thankful that 100% of this amount has all gone to meet specific needs of individuals, and that our Gift Aid model enables us to continue to make our resource free for all our partners.
A wonderful response to our Easter Fresh Start appeal, which saw 105 individuals supported with a fresh start.
Our supporter and partner event, Giving Hope Together, which was well attended. It was a fantastic time sharing and celebrating all that God is doing through our work.
The 529 individuals and families who have been helped in April by Acts 435 Advocates and Donors, with £87,390 distributed to those who need it most.
Please join us in praying for:
A new campaign that we're involved in this month, which is called A Million Acts of Hope. The campaign encourages communities to focus on hope, and bring light into the darkness. Please pray that we can be a force for good in this campaign, and that many new individuals will find out about our work.
Some meetings that are coming up soon with individuals from Trussell, Christians Against Poverty and Places of Welcome. Please pray that these conversations are fruitful and that we can
Katie, as she is part of a judging panel for the Warm Welcome Awards. These awards will celebrate individuals and spaces that have been providing a warm welcome in their local communities.
As always, thank you for your prayers for these individuals, our Advocates and for Acts 435 as we seek to do more for those in need in the UK.

Best wishes,
Katie
