September Prayer Bulletin
"Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience."
Colossians 3:12

The new school year often feels like a new season for us as a charity. Please do pray for us as we look ahead to this new season, for our team and for our local partners.
In August we welcomed our new Operations Manager, Helen Cross (right). She will be looking after the day-to-day running of Acts 435, and supporting our local Advocates in their role. Please pray for Helen as she settles into her role.
As well as praying for our work please do join us in praying for those that our work aims to support, and particularly please pray for those who are having issues with housing. We have had several prayer requests for those who need housing, moving costs or items to get them settled into a permanent home. Please lift up all of these individuals and families.
Firstly this month we are very thankful to God for:
Our School Uniform Appeal, which enabled us to support 54 families with over £8,000 towards the cost of school uniform in time for the new academic year.
Our presence at Devoted conference over the bank holiday weekend. While some of our team were also serving in a church capacity we were able to have a stand, so please pray that learnt about our charity and are keen to find out more.
The 524 individuals and families who have been helped in August by Acts 435 Advocates and Donors, with £90,450 distributed to those who need it most.
Please join us in praying for:
An opportunity to write a blog for our friends Jubilee+, who equip UK churches to change the lives of those living in poverty in their local community. Please pray that it is read by potential donors and church partners.
An opportunity to share at the Community Money Advice Conference in October. This online conference will give us the opportunity to share our work, and talk to delegates who run CMA Centres in their churches. Please pray as we prepare the online content for this event.
As always, thank you for your prayers for these individuals, our Advocates and for Acts 435 as we seek to do more for those in need in the UK.
Best wishes,
