September Prayer Bulletin

This morning I saw all three of my children go to school for the first time in over seven weeks. I have been extremely grateful for the summer, but we're all ready for our routines to be back in place. Please join me in lifting up all children who are now back to school, especially those who have been supported through Acts 435 with a new uniform. Please pray that they would go into school without anxiety, and with confidence and dignity.

This month, please do also join us in praying for those who are struggling with housing. Pray for those who are seeking a permanent home, having difficulties with their current home, or who cannot afford their household bills. There are many reasons why finding and sustaining housing can be difficult for individuals, and we have many local partners who are supporting individuals in these situations, so please do also lift these partners up in prayer. 

Firstly this month we are very thankful to God for:

The incredible generosity of our donors in meeting the school uniform needs of over 80 families in time for the new school year.  

Our ongoing partnership with Warm Welcome. Please pray as we head into the autumn that we can resource more of their Warm Welcome Spaces around the UK, and particularly for our involvement in their 'Winter Safety Net' strategy.

Eight new Christians Against Poverty Debt Centre partners who are supporting people out of debt, and are now able to support them with one-off needs through Acts 435 too! 

A new connection with Revitalise Trust, who supports churches with planting and also social transformation. Please pray that we can find good opportunities to share with their network of churches around the UK. 

The 544 individuals and families who have been helped in August by Acts 435 Advocates and Donors, with £95,240 distributed to those who need it most.

Some meetings we have coming up with different networks that could benefit from sharing Acts 435 with their local partners. Please pray for these individual conversations to be fruitful. 

A regional roundtable that Jenny is attending online next week, which is for facilitators of Warm Welcome Spaces. Please pray they will be responsive to sharing Acts 435 locally. 

Nathan, our Digital Content Creator, as he films with some of our local partners throughout the autumn.

Our team as we look towards some small, but significant developments to our website. Please pray that we make the right changes that will be beneficial for our donors.
