£200 needed for debt arrears
This gentleman, who is in a very desperate situation, is being pursued by debt collection agencies for a chronic debt. He has agreed to commence payment, but the impact of this is that he is now experiencing food insecurity and is desperate for help. £200 would allow us to pay off part of his debt as part of his payment plan. This will allow him to reduce his payments so that he can manage his daily outgoings. He is going to start working with our Christians Against Poverty advisor for further help and support.

B has experienced significant trauma from domestic violence. Unfortunately, the flat mum and her two children are living in has recently suffered a serious infestation of bed bugs, which means they have been forced to get rid of their beds and other furniture. B and her children are now sleeping on camp beds and we would like to be able to purchase mattresses to go along with some bed frames we have been donated. B, who has a low income, receives Universal Credit and some disability benefit. We have submitted a separate request for the single mattresses.
