Acts 435 Administrator
- Location: Home-based, with weekly meetings in York
- Hours: 15 hours per week, preferably mornings but must be spread across the whole working week
- Salary: £25,480 per annum, pro rata, working 15 hours a week

This role involves working closely with the Operations Manager to ensure the smooth running of the charity. The main everyday tasks of the role include checking through the requests and thank you messages from our partners. Partner church and charity Advocates use our online platform to submit requests on behalf of those they are supporting, and later share thank you messages once the help has been received. You’ll be responsible for reviewing these requests and messages - making sure they are clear, accurate, well-written, and in line with our guidelines, while still valuing each individual story.
The successful candidate will need to be able to balance efficiency and a good eye for detail with compassion and an appreciation of the individual circumstances of partners and those in need.
Acts 435 is a Christian charity serving those living in poverty in the UK. A genuine empathy with the Christian faith and a heart for social justice are essential.
This is a home-based role, but close proximity to York is crucial for in-person meetings and team collaboration.
