Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

T is unable to work, due to health issues relating to a tumour which was discovered when giving birth to her daughter in 2017, and she is now receiving treatment which causes side effects, including depression. T is currently residing in council accommodation and the current state of the property is in some disrepair, and is prone to getting damp and mould on the premises. T urgently needs the support of dehumidifiers to be able to make her living situation more manageable, which has become increasingly harder, due to her disability.

Total needed £180This family that we have been supporting are now now debt free, doing great work on their budget and managing their money. Unfortunately, their tumble dryer has broken down and is unable to be repaired. The family, who do not have the savings set aside, and are coping now, but come the autumn and winter, when they rely on it for the children's clothes, they will need a replacement. They have come to us one last time to ask if there is anything we can do to support them. The family have a disabled adult and a child with special educational needs (SEN). They rely on the tumble dryer to dry the clothes, especially in the winter.

Total needed £200Our client, K, is a single mother of a severely disabled adult daughter and needs help to purchase and install some simple flooring in her daughter's bedroom. There are large holes in the floor at present, which is dangerous for both mum and daughter. K is a long-term recipient of support from our group. She does all she can to look after her daughter, for whom she is the sole carer, and to provide a safe and happy home environment for her, but she struggles to meet all her daughter's significant needs on her low income.
