Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
We met R in prison after he found himself in custody for a first, one-off offence. He has worked all his life but, on release from prison, he had no access to his personal belongings, including his ID. He is motivated to get back into work and rebuild his life. R needs a birth certificate for his right-to-work documents but, due to having no money, he can not afford to buy one himself. Please can you help R to cover the costs for his ID so he can get work?
Still £35 left to donate
Total needed £35W is an ex-offender who we have been supporting to get into work after being unemployed for some time. We have secured him a job but, due to starting just after pay day, he will have to wait two weeks to get his first pay packet. W needs £40 to fill up his car so he can get to work until he is paid. Please can you help us cover the travel costs for him?
