A new beginning after trauma
Thanks to the Acts 435 community this aunt, who has recently taken custody of her niece and nephew, was able to provide two single beds and bedding for them.
The children have recently experienced prolonged trauma, and had to be removed from their home. Their aunt stepped in to support the children, but felt helpful that she was unable to provide them with a place to sleep.

The local Acts 435 Advocate was able to post two requests for the family, one for the two beds, and one for the bedding. The requests were met as part of the fresh start appeal throughout Easter, and after being met the aunt said:
"Speechless is how I feel right now. Your kindness in this terrible unsettling time is phenomenal. For a child, smell can trigger so many emotions, memories and fears, so a new bed and bedding - that is massive. My heart is full of gratitude. These children will know what real kindness and love is because a simple act of compassion from a stranger speaks volumes. What I love about your kindness is you're not judging me because I cannot afford to buy beds, you're giving me hope for these children’s new fresh life. I will make sure they are loved unconditionally. Bless you."
"I have no words that can say how appreciative I am of this huge help to help support my nephew and niece needs. The trauma has been immense, but now they are safe and can sleep in a new bed with clean new bedding, we will try to rebuild a new life for them. Whoever you are, from my heart thank you".
As a charity we're thankful to be able to provide for these very practical needs that can have a huge impact for a family, and provide them with a new beginning.
