Laptops for learning and well-being

G and J who are both seeking asylum in the UK both suffered from human cruelty in their previous countries. They are now hoping for a fresh start, and are currently undergoing courses to improve their qualifications. G is really interested in creative writing, and J loves photography. They were both thrilled to have laptops given to them through the generous donations of Acts 435 donors.

These laptops will be a lifeline, not just for their courses, but also for their well-being. Here are the messages of thanks that were sent by the local Advocate:

For G's laptop: This woman was overjoyed to receive this gift from you all, and was excited to start compiling her writing and work on her first book of short stories!

For J's laptop: This man was absolutely elated to receive this laptop. He couldn't wait to upload his photos and edit them. He couldn't stop beaming, and asked me to pass on his sincere gratitude to you for blessing him.

This photo was sent into us by their local Advocate in Southwark, and she said they "dressed up for us to take a photo of them with their new laptops!"
