Haringey Migrant Support Centre offers a free advice service relating to immigration, housing, homelessness, welfare and destitution matters. We welcome all migrants from across Greater London including refugees, asylum seekers, those who are undocumented or at risk of losing their leave to remain.

Current needs
F is a single parent of a girl, aged five, and a boy, aged three. She is a migrant with no access to benefits, and the family have been living on a subsistence grant and using foodbanks for many years. F's daughter has special educational needs and F struggles with her mental health. The family have one mattress and as the children grow F has been sleeping on the floor. She would be very grateful for help to buy a bed for the oldest child so that they can all get a better night's sleep.

Total needed £200P came to the UK 24 years ago. She's never had a stable home since arriving in the UK, and has lived with friends for many years but is now sleeping at a night shelter. She suffers from lymphoedema which affects her mobility and is hard to manage in the shelter. She is eligible to make an application to regularise her stay in the UK and this would make a huge difference to her wellbeing but to do so she first needs to renew her Nigerian passport. She would be grateful for any help to do this.
