The Lighthouse Community Church
We are a small christian baptist church based in a community in Fishersgate that is in a deprived area and as a Church we aim to bring the good news message of the gospel to people in our community. We do this by providing a foodbank (Fishersgate Foodbank), childrens and youth clubs and a mother and toddler group as well and Sunday Morning and evening worship services.

Current needs
A and H are a married couple with two children, one is a new born premature baby who has been in hospital for four months. Dad is unable to work and they manage on benefits. They live in a very damp flat and, having spent many months in hospital, their home has been empty for a long period of time. Their bed and mattress are covered with mould and damp, and they need a new bed and mattress, but cannot afford it. Your help would make a big difference.

Total needed £200N, a disabled man who uses our foodbank, lives alone and is dependent on benefits. He relies on his microwave for cooking as he has very limited facilities and, due to his disability, finds it difficult to use a cooker. Unfortunately his microwave has stopped working and needs to be replaced. This is causing N considerable difficulty and he is relying on neighbours for help. Your contribution would be very big help.
