Project 17
We are a small charity working with migrant families (parents and children) who are experiencing extreme poverty or homelessness, and who are not allowed to access welfare benefits due to their immigration status ('no recourse to public funds'). We provide advice and advocacy support.

Current needs
N lives with her partner and three dependent children. She has serious ongoing medical conditions. Due to their immigration status, the adults are not allowed to work. The family relies on help from the local council and foodbanks. They are struggling to stay warm. Please help us get winter clothing for three children, including a nursery uniform for the youngest and get jumpers and warm layers for the adults.
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200G is a single mum with a child under 2. Because of her immigration status, she is not allowed to work. The family has no income and rely on help from the council and foodbanks. G wants to do care work in the future, and she is taking steps to upskill, including enrolling for a free skills course at the local college. A tablet will help her access online learning. She will also use it to help her young child access educational content online like videos.
