We are a Christian based charity which provides services which support vulnerable people. Money Matters provides financial inclusion support (debt, benefits, income maximisation) to people using foodbanks. Carelink provides services for older people struggling with loneliness (telephone support, social groups, digital support, trips). Restart provides supported housing for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Current needs
This single lady in her 50's is financially vulnerable on a very low income. She lives in her own house with no family support, and it is increasingly in need of work to make it safe. Her gas cooker was condemned in May and gas fittings deemed unsafe. She has been offered a new electric cooker which would also reduce her energy costs, but needs extensive electrical work to be able to install it. We have accessed most of the money but need the rest for her to be able to cook again.
