Current needs
D is a single woman with multiple health issues and is currently unable to work. She has just moved to a ground floor council flat from an upstairs one, which better meets her needs. Her income is Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment. Whilst she has been able to gather some items of furniture, she cannot afford to buy a washing machine. This would make a big difference to her as she tries to set up her new home. Please help her if you can. Thank you.
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200J suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and other mental health problems which often leave him feeling unable to leave his flat. Sadly, his flat was broken into recently and a lot of damage was caused, his TV screen was smashed and his mobile phone was stolen. The TV is a lifeline with spending so much time alone, and not having a phone makes it very difficult to maintain vital contacts. He receives Universal Credit but has little to spare and help to replace these items would be a real blessing.
Still £120 left to donate
Total needed £200G was born with cerebral palsy. Sadly he was abused in a relationship and has had to be relocated here. Due to his condition and arthritis in both shoulders he is unable to work. He has been given an unfurnished council bungalow which he is managing to decorate himself but is struggling to afford the furniture he needs. He receives Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payments. Any help you could give him would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Still £175 left to donate
Total needed £200N has recently had one of his legs amputated and spent a number of weeks in hospital. Several items from his home have gone missing during his time in hospital. He is in receipt of Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payments. He is not in a position to afford replacement items himself. It would be amazing if you could help in the purchase of a fridge and a microwave. It would really help him settle in to home life again. Thank you.
Still £160 left to donate
Total needed £160L suffers from depression and physical health problems, leaving him unfit for work. He receives Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payments but debt repayments leave him struggling financially each month. His sofa is in a poor state with all the back cushions being used to plug holes in the base, where all the springs have gone, making it very uncomfortable. Help to replace his sofa, along with food vouchers to help him through to his next benefits payment, would be greatly appreciated.
