We are a help centre and foodbank in Ammanford that exists to help those in need in the area. Not just providing food for those in financial crisis but looking to prevent people falling into crisis in the first place through preventative measures and help.

Current needs
R is a mum of five children, 2 of whom have special needs. Mum struggles to have enough money for basic needs for her family. During the summer she puts washing on the line and during the winter, in our rainy climate in Wales, she finds it difficult to dry clothes. This request is for two heated clothes drying racks that we are requesting funding for. Many thanks.

Total needed £100C, a mother to teenage children and carer for her partner who has stage 3 cancer and is in palliative care, is living off a small carers allowance and Personal Independence Payment. C is ineligible for other help as her siblings are disputing an inherited property from their mother, and refusing to sell and give their sister her share. C doesn't know how she will continue to live and is trying to find work, despite being a full-time carer. This support will enable them to keep the gas and electric on in order to have light and stay warm and dry.
