We offer gender-informed and trauma-responsive wraparound support to enable women to reach their potential. We work with more than 2000 women a year through advocacy, counselling, crisis intervention, and intensive long-term specialist support both in the community in Birmingham and in prison.

Current needs
The client is currently coping with the loss of her daughter, which has significantly impacted her emotional wellbeing. She is engaging with Anawim, attending appointments with probation and courses that support emotional regulation and healthy coping mechanisms. Due to limited finances, the cost of travel is becoming a barrier. A 2 month bus pass would enable her to continue accessing support, attend mandatory appointments, and remain engaged in services that are helping her wellbeing.
