Current needs
This family has 2 boys with additional needs. Both go to specialist provision during term time but during holidays Mum really struggles to meet their needs, as well as caring for other family members in their multi-generational house. It would benefit them to be able to access a local SEN provision during the holidays but cost is a barrier. Right now the parents can only work for limited hours. We would love to support them to access the sessions and prevent the family reaching crisis during the summer holidays.

Total needed £180Safe Families are supporting a family who are requesting sensory items to support a non-verbal child with suspected autism who experiences frequent meltdowns when overwhelmed. She struggles with sleep (often awake 24+ hours), feeding, and social situations, and seeks constant physical reassurance from mum, causing strain. Her parents are exhausted, unable to work and cannot afford resources. These items would help to aid regulation, reduce anxiety, and improve sleep.
