M is a single mother with a two year old daughter. Although she has a SIM card and we have been able to fund a top-up so that she can make calls, she has to borrow a friend's phone handset to do so, because her own has stopped working. Her income is too low for her to buy a new one. A new handset will enable her to be more independent when accessing her financial affairs, as well as making calls and texts.

This young man was unable to continue to work in the care sector, due to the grief he felt when his grandmother and uncle died within a few months of each other, as he was close to both of them. He has experienced a lot of anxiety and grief. This young man is now working in a fish and chip shop and is on a low wage. He is now dealing with debt that he accrued, due to not being able to work.
