Greater Together Manchester
Greater Together Manchester works with people and communities experiencing homelessness and multiple disadvantage across Greater Manchester and Rossendale. We run sports and wellbeing sessions, supporting participants to build new skills and relationships, connect to the wider community, and experience improved physical and mental health. We also provide one-to-one support in finding and moving into housing, to build a pathway out of, or to prevent, homelessness. We support people holistically to build fulfilling lives, including through finding employment, engaging in education and training, obtaining welfare support, and accessing physical and mental healthcare. Beyond this one-to-one support, we work to identify the causes and consequences of poverty and multiple disadvantage, and advocate for change, through listening to communities and individuals with lived experience. We mobilise churches and community groups to tackle injustice and close gaps in provision, equipping them to shift from crisis response to poverty prevention, all while keeping dignity, justice, and hope at the heart of their mission. Together, we seek to transform lives and communities, building a Greater Manchester and Rossendale where everyone can flourish.
