St. Vincent De Paul Society - St Josephs and St Margaret Clitherow
The society of Saint Vincent de Paul (SVP) is a national Christian charity dedicated to tackling poverty and social isolation through person to person support. Current needs
T has been a rough sleeper since 2012, after discovering a body in the park, he has been traumatised. The police encouraged the local council to get involved and while his case was being considered, our parish priest allowed him to sleep in the church hall over night. He has now been given his own place and is starting to build a new way of life. A cooker is needed to add to the furniture we have already provided. We will walk this new journey with him and support him.
