Azadi Trust

K and K are an educated Pakistani couple with three children. They have no access to benefits, no family or community support, and have been living in atrocious conditions (a bedsit with kitchen and bathroom, shared with mice). They have now just been given the tenancy of a decent private-rented house which is part-furnished but they have limited furniture to take with them having had no room for much up to now. The dad has been working long hours at his minimum wage job to save up for the deposit and first months rent for their new tenancy but there is no money left over to buy furniture. They need two beds for the children, a double mattress, some basic wardrobes/storage, and some bedding.
