J and his mum A have previously been victims of domestic abuse, and A struggles with her mental health. She works full time, doing long shifts, but is finding it difficult to keep on top of the household finances on one income, and has been struggling to keep on top of the home conditions. The family’s dishwasher is broken, which is adding to the strain of trying to keep the kitchen clean and hygienic. Her family support worker has asked for a dishwasher to ease her mental health issues.
