I visited L, a 55 year old lady who lives on her own. She's had a very difficult time recently and now struggles with her mental health as well as some physical problems. She recently moved into a ground floor flat but it has nothing in it. With the help of friends she has managed to acquire essential white goods and a bed but needs some kind of floor covering to make it warmer and more comfortable.

B, a 74 year old lady, has just come out of hospital after a serious fall and injury. We have visited recently and applied for the appropriate disability benefit and to see what else we can help with. Unfortunately they're not eligible for help from the local authority. They have had no heating for some time and at present, it's important to keep this lady warm whilst she's recuperating.
