The Rainbow Centre (Scarborough)

G is struggling to wash his clothes and compression bandages for his legs, due to a leg ulcer. He has bad circulation in his hands as well as his legs and so struggles to hand wash clothes. He has emphysema which makes it difficult to get to a launderette too. G receives disability benefits, but is struggling to save. He is learning to budget as this is his first permanent accommodation in forty years! A washer will really help him keep his leg ulcers clean and free of infections that keep recurring currently.
