This lady ran her own business, employing people. It was stressful and she self medicated with alcohol which turned into addiction. She lost her business and house. Her and her daughter moved into a hostel. She got support and detoxed then with help from a local charity, she started volunteering. This turned into a paid job. She is now working part time and has just moved into a new home. There is no cooker. Setting up home again is expensive but she has some money to put towards the cooker.

This lady is her 20 year old son's carer. He has life long health conditions that negatively affect his general well-being and ability to live a normal life. He also has some learning disabilities. In the last few weeks her cooker has broken beyond repair. They live on benefits and, because of her son's health issues there are extra expenses like washing, diet and travel. Can you help?
