£100 needed for a safety course and certificate to get work
This young man was laid off from work in September. He has always worked on building sites but his site safety card has expired. Without work he is unable to afford it so can't get work. He has three young children. One is in nursery, funding for her place will be withdrawn if he doesn't get work soon. The site safety card is The EMSS National Site Safety Passport. The course and certificate cost £99.60. The family are in receipt of benefits so have nothing spare to pay for the course.
