£200 needed for a king size mattress

This gentleman regularly attends our centre. He has moderate learning difficulties and mental health issues and struggles with planning and organisation. He is signed off on long term sick and relies on Universal Credit but due to the cost of living has no savings. His mattress is very old, worn and not fit for purpose, but he cannot afford a new one. We would like to provide a new one to support his comfort, health and well being. Funding for a new mattress would make a significant positive difference to his daily life.

£200 needed for a washing machine

This young lady is experiencing a difficult period while transitioning to a new home. Unfortunately she has been unable to afford essential household appliances, including a washing machine and often struggles to purchase adequate food. She is living alone and managing all costs independently. The lack of proper facilities and the ongoing build up of laundry has significantly impacted her well being and has become mentally overwhelming for her. We would like to offer her a washing machine.
