Our client, who receives Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment, was made homeless by their landlord retiring and realising their assets. They have found a new flat, but it is totally empty and they are in need of a fridge freezer. Our client has several physical issues, including arthritis, major surgery for tendon issues on one shoulder, and the other shoulder is now awaiting surgery. They also suffer from Spinal Stenosis and are awaiting injections to ease the pain and inflammation. Consequently, our client is unable to work so cannot afford a fridge freezer.
