R is living in supported accommodation, as he speaks limited English and struggles to access support independently. He doesn't currently have any means of cooking for himself, and would really benefit from a microwave so that he can heat food and not have to survive on just cold food that doesn't require cooking, which is unhealthy and expensive. He has a low income, and no family or friends nearby who could help out, so your help to buy a microwave would really help him.

T has been a substance user for some time, but recently lost her partner to an overdose and is determined to try to make positive changes in her life. She has engaged with housing support who are helping her to sort out her utilities and clean up her home. Her home doesn't have a cooker, which would really help her to build positive habits as well as making her diet more healthy and affordable, helping her recovery. She can't afford to buy one herself as she has little income.

J is heavily pregnant, and been staying in emergency accommodation having fled domestic abuse. She has now moved into a property of her own, but it has no washing machine. J is very worried about how she will keep on top of keeping all the baby's clothes and bedding clean without a washing machine, but she can't afford to buy one herself as her only income is Universal Credit which barely covers her daily living costs.

L is struggling with her health, suffering from diabetes and arthritis, experiencing memory problems and undergoing ongoing cancer treatment. All of which have led to her also struggling with financial issues. Her washing machine has recently expired, and she can't afford to replace it. Due to her health issues she needs to be able to wash her clothes and bedding very regularly, and she is unable to take them elsewhere due to the cost, the infection risks and her health difficulties.
