L has managed to buy a few bits of furniture and household items, but she has a very low income so hasn't been able to buy much. In particular, she can't afford a washing machine. Your help to buy one would mean she could keep her limited clothes and bedding clean without having to hand wash them - she can't afford a launderette either.

E has been living in temporary supported accommodation having fled domestic violence from her child's father. She has now been offered a social housing property of her own, but as she fled with no possessions and has very little income, she is struggling to buy items for her new home. Your support to buy a vacuum cleaner would mean she could keep her new property clean and tidy as she builds a new life for herself.

S was homeless but has now been supported into a tenancy of their own. She has no furniture and very few possessions, and although she has been helped with a few bits of charity shop furniture, she hasn't been able to get a fridge. Your help to buy a fridge would mean she could keep fresh food safely and eat more healthily and affordably.
