J, who lives alone, has mental health issues which we are supporting him with, and several other health issues including heart problems. His income is from Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment. J has no family support, feels isolated and is really struggling at this time, but what is also a concern is that he has no bed and currently sleeps on the floor. We are hoping to get J a new double bed and some bedding to help with his sleep, as we feel this would also be beneficial to his health, and we can then continue to support him with everyday living.

M, who has a history of mental health issues and is unable to work, due to this and physical illness, is reliant on Universal Credit. Her GP has advised that exercise would be helpful, especially swimming. She has a plan to try and get herself fit for work, and would appreciate help short-term with the gym fees. M hopes that exercising on a regular basis will help her recovery and that once she is employed, she can then pay her own gym fees. Thank you for your support.
