M is on benefits and lives in private rented accommodation. His landlord has repeatedly increased the rent, leaving him struggling financially after paying the shortfall. He has applied for council and housing association accommodation but has been told he may wait several years. M has complex needs and is supported by Social Services. He has no fridge freezer, making it difficult and more expensive to store and manage food. M is asking for contributions for a much needed fridge freezer.

R is a lone mum in full-time employment, caring for her six-year-old child with disabilities. R has recently fled domestic abuse and moved into a new home, currently without carpets, curtains, and basic household goods. She finds herself in a virtually empty house, devoid of all household goods, with no savings to draw on to furnish the property or meet these essential needs. She is adding carpets in stages. R is requesting support to buy carpets for her living room.

R is unemployed and on benefits and has ill health. Also he has no savings. He is required to move from the old Employment and Support Allowance system to Universal Credit which has caused arrears. His microwave has broken and is his preferred method of cooking. He would like assistance in obtaining a much needed new microwave oven. R is grateful for any assistance.
