This young woman has left the care system. She was subject to neglect and did not have a positive start in life following abuse from her parents. She is now living in her own home and has little in the way of a support network outside of Social Care. Recently she got herself a cat, as a companion to stop her loneliness. Despite this her mood is up and down and she suffers from anxiety and depression. Her home has bare floors, which will be cold in the winter. Rugs would make such a difference.
