Barnabus has been supporting people experiencing homeless in Manchester for over 30 years. Everything we do comes down to one thing: to help people in their journey off the streets. No matter how long it takes, we’ll be here, every step of the way. Helping someone get a bed isn’t enough on its own. The traumas people carry with them require intensive support to help them rebuild their lives. We walk with people on their journey off the streets, providing person-centred, trauma informed care to break the cycle of homelessness. Our aim is to release people from poverty, trauma and the effects of homelessness into a home. We need your help to support people out of homelessness and into bright futures.

Current needs
L has been supported by Barnabus for years and has gone on a journey of rough sleeping to being stable in accommodation and now working. L is now moving into her own rented accommodation that she has sourced herself. Barnabus will continue to support L as she transitions into her own independent home, but L needs help with the deposit for her new flat. This funding will be transformational in moving L into independent accommodation and allowing her to continue working towards total independence.
