Braintree Area Foodbank

Our client was recently discharged from hospital and placed into temporary housing. Adult Social Care contacted us to help support them, which we have been and now they have been housed. While this is great news, unfortunately, they have no white goods or flooring at all. We are already looking to get support for them with some furniture and would love to be able to also get them some new carpet to help make their house a home. Can you help?

Our client was recently discharged from hospital, they were previously homeless but now are under Adult Social Care who, along with ourselves, have been supporting them. After a period of living in temporary accommodation, they have now been housed but have no flooring at all. We would love to be able to support them with some new carpet to help make their house a home.

Our client has recently lost their mum which has affected their mental health. They are trying to get work but are struggling to find a job due to their age (a couple of years from retirement) and this is leaving them short on money. They have been through a lot and to top it off they have had a house fire which wiped out a lot of their possessions. We would like to provide them with a new washing machine so that they can be ready for interviews and to support them recovering from the fire.

We are currently supporting a young family who have received the worst news possible as one of their children has been diagnosed with a terminal illness. This has been part of a long journey and their expenses have gone through the roof. They need a little help with some shopping as the cost and stress of supporting the whole family, has put immense strain on their finances. Can you help?

Our client has a very low income as they only get basic benefits. They manage to scrape by but are often left short, we have been working with citizens advice to support them and it has now come to light that a good chunk of their money goes on renting white goods. We would like to provide them with a new fridge-freezer in order to reduce this cost and support them with having more income left over to pay other bills and purchase necessities like food. Can you help?
