L, a young woman from Eritrea, is a refugee who has survived domestic violence and is now living in a young person's sheltered housing project. She recently got her status in the UK and now needs to get important ID documents. This funding will pay for her Home Office travel document which is a vital form of ID as a newly recognised refugee, so that L can search for work and prove her status if needed. The Home Office provides an E-visa, but often employers require a physical ID document.
