Housing Justice

A is from Sudan and was recently granted refugee status in the UK. A is now looking for work, and wants to start work as a taxi driver. He needs to pass his practical driving test to do this. A contribution would help A to book the lessons he needs to pass his test. These lessons will be very important in helping him to then find work, and begin his life in the UK. Thank you.

E was recently referred to our project following a period of homelessness. E has now got his own room following several months in hostels and bedsits. Whilst E is now safe and secure, he needs support to make his new room more comfortable. E is on a very low income at the moment although he is looking for work. We are asking for contributions towards a basic tv, sandwich maker and a kettle. E struggles with his mental health and a tv will help him adjust to living in his own place.

N has just moved into his first suitable tenancy after a period of rough sleeping and time spent in a hostel. He feels really comfortable here however, the studio has come without curtains. We are seeking some money to help pay for putting up some curtains to make this place feel like home.
