Ashford Town Parish

T is an asylum seeker from Ethiopia who fled because her whole family were killed in the conflict there and her life was in danger. She currently resides in an asylum hotel and receives less than £9 per week from the Home Office. T needs a reconditioned phone in order to keep in contact with the Home Office and friends back home. She urgently needs warm clothes and shoes, as she has nothing suitable for British winter weather. We would love to help her with these items.

S and her sister, P, are asylum seekers from Iran who were in danger in their home country, due to their political beliefs and their desire to not wear a hijab. Their lives were threatened and they fled to the UK. S and P share a room in an asylum hotel and receive less than £9 per week each from the Home Office. They do not have clothes and shoes suitable for a British winter and we would like to provide them. They also need a suitcase.
