Lodge Road Community Church

K is a single mum with two children and is a former member of staff for our local charity from over 3 years ago. Sadly she had to be moved out of the local area for her own, and her children's safety, due to domestic violence. She has now returned to our local community and is setting up a home for her family. She receives Universal Credit so her finances are limited and she is in need of a single bed and two sets of chest of drawers. Any donations for these items would be gratefully received.

L is a care leaver who has been living independently for a number of years and is now 38 weeks pregnant with her first child. Having previously lived in a women's refuge and in shared accommodation, she has now been given a flat and will receive her keys within the next five days. She wants to set up her new home for herself and her new baby and has been given some items but she really needs a washing machine, which is currently beyond her means, so any donations would be gratefully received.
