K is a single parent on Universal Credit whose fridge freezer has broken and the engineer has advised her that it is too old to repair. K is asking for help to buy one as she is struggling with the rising cost of living crisis and is finding it extremely difficult to save towards a new one. Without this she would need to shop daily and finds the thought of that terrifying.
