Current needs
A mum of two is going through a separation and has recently moved into her own accommodation. Although working full-time, she is having to start again with very few belongings, having been unable to take many items with her. She is currently sleeping on an inflatable bed and cannot afford to replace it or purchase basic household essentials. A bed and kitchen basics, including a kettle, toaster, pans and plates, would help her and her children establish a comfortable home.
Still £170 left to donate
Total needed £200A gentleman who has recently experienced homelessness and struggles with his mental health has now been supported into accommodation of his own. He is starting from scratch and has no basic household essentials. He is also experiencing loneliness and social isolation, and the kindness and support of Acts 435 has made a real difference to his outlook, helping him feel that people care and giving him hope as he begins rebuilding his life. A voucher for bedding, towels, pans, plates and food would help him make a fresh start.
Still £170 left to donate
Total needed £200A single mum of three is receiving Universal Credit while retraining to improve her employment prospects. Living in temporary accommodation in a neighbouring town, she faces a 3.5-mile journey each way to her children's school. The children have bikes, but she cannot afford one herself as she has no spare funds. A bike for her would enable the family to cycle to school together, reducing travel costs and making the daily journey more manageable.
