Chadderton Community Church

G moved into a private rented flat after being homeless. He was given some house items from family and friends. He has now moved out due to the damp and mould which was terrible and the landlord wants to sell the flat. The landlord took all his furniture to the tip while G was staying at a friend’s due to illness. G has now been rehoused but has no fridge freezer to store food and medication in. He is on Universal Credit but cannot afford to buy such an expensive item. Please can you help?

M. Is on low income struggling financially and suffers from anxiety issues. M. Lost one of his legs years ago which left him depressed and unable work at the time. M has been homeless but has his own place now and is starting to enjoy life a bit better. He’s always been concerned about his appearance and try’s to look smart and clean, he has no means to buy a washing machine and is desperate to wash his bedding and clothes. Please can you help?

This single mum is waiting on benefits to be sorted. She moved houses due to a breakdown in her relationship. Mum has only the kids beds and wardrobes and toys as she was unable to take anything else as her ex-partner still lives there. Mum is extremely concerned and stressed as the new house is a lot bigger and this creates a lot more noise. Mum is worried their neighbours will complain. Please can you help?

This single mum on low income has been housed after breakdown in a relationship. Mum had to leave with very few items. Mum is financially struggling and becoming more anxious and depressed. The house she now has is nice but as the children move about it is very noisy. All the bedrooms are floorboards and not in the best of condition. Mum has put rugs down but the kids keep tripping on them. Please can you help us get them carpet?
