August Prayer Bulletin
From the ends of the earth, I cry to you for help when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the towering rock of safety.

We're now well into the summer holidays in our household, which is a great change of pace for us as a family. However, please continue to lift up families who will be struggling with the extra costs of having children at home, and for our partner churches and charities who will be supporting these families over the summer holidays.
August is often a quieter month for us as a staff team with annual leave, and colleagues at partner organisations taking leave too. So, this prayer bulletin is lighter this month, but there are still some important points for prayer, as well as the prayer needed for individuals. So we ask that you continue to stand with us in prayer, even during this quieter season.
Firstly this month we are very thankful to God for:
Our ongoing partnership with Warm Welcome, and please pray as we head into the autumn that we can resource more of their Warm Welcome Spaces around the UK.
Five new partners, and five new enquiries to partner with us, from local St Vincent de Paul Conferences, who look to practically support individuals in their communities. This will enable us to reach many more people in need!
The Church Urban Fund Conference that Jenny attended a couple of weeks ago, which has provided many new contacts that could utilise Acts 435 in their local communities.
A quieter season for us as a team, which enables us to reflect on our processes and keep improving them. We are particularly focusing on each step in the process to onboard new partner churches and charities and ask you to pray for wisdom for us in how we best support them from making an enquiry, to signing up, to posting requests.
The 620 individuals and families who have been helped in July by Acts 435 Advocates and Donors, with £98,345 distributed to those who need it most.
Please join us in praying for:
All our churches and charity partners who are running Make Lunch Clubs, or similar provisions, during the summer holidays. Please pray that as they provide meals for families, and often other activities, they will be able to have a great impact in their local community.
Our School Uniform Appeal that we run throughout August to support families in need of uniform for the new academic year. Please pray that many of our Advocates will post requests, and that they will all get met quickly.
As always, thank you for your prayers for these individuals, our Advocates and for Acts 435 as we seek to do more for those in need in the UK.
