Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

T and her partner have been moved out of their flat, due to a leaking roof that caused damp and everything was ruined. They have nothing in this new flat and literally have had to start from scratch. We are helping them try to source what they can, but on their low disability benefits it isn't easy. They have found a washing machine for £230 plus delivery and they can raise £50 for it. Please could we help with the remaining £180 so that they can wash their clothes and feel more settled?
Still £130 left to donate
Total needed £180K has recently escaped domestic violence and has been housed here. She has three young children and one with complex disabilities. K has no carpets anywhere and is especially concerned about the stairs that have nails etc. on them, with her toddlers and the disabled child. She desperately needs some carpet, but has very basic benefit income. A local carpet shop will deliver stair carpet for £200 and she will manage the fitting charge. Please could we help?
