Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

Referred to our services by the probation service, this gentleman lacks family support in the area. Having fallen victim to County Lines trafficking, he finds himself in a vulnerable position. The St Vincent de Paul centre has reached out to various agencies to explore ongoing housing solutions. In the interim, we aim to address this gentleman's immediate needs by asking for your help for a four night stay in bed and breakfast. Any assistance offered during this critical period would be greatly appreciated.
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200This gentleman, who came to our centre, suffers from a diagnosed mental health disorder, schizophrenia, and battles alcohol and drug addiction. Before accessing the property designated by the probation team, he must undergo a drug test. In our efforts to assist him, we aim to facilitate access to drug and alcohol networks and provide a four night temporary bridging stay in bed and breakfast. Any support extended to this gentleman, during this critical transition period, would be deeply appreciated.
