Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

E is 40 years old. She has two young children, both with additional support needs, and an older daughter with significant health issues. She has a few jobs as a cleaner and has a low income. She volunteers in the church with our mother and baby group. She makes a lot of use of her microwave which has unfortunately stopped working, but she can't afford to replace it. Your help would be much appreciated.
Still £55 left to donate
Total needed £75G was previously in temporary accommodation until he moved into a tenancy in 2024. Due to cutbacks with council funding (no longer providing washing machines), G is struggling to pay for washing his clothes and bedding. G had come previously to us to have his laundry done, but this is no longer practical because he now lives further out and transport in is expensive. He is keen to become more and more independent and the washing machine would really help as part of that journey.
