Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

S and her child fled Domestic Abuse and were housed in temporary accommodation. Mum has really made a life for her and her baby daughter, and they have now been moved into permanent accommodation. However, there is no flooring and this is not ideal with a young child. Please can you help us to provide a bedroom carpet for mum? Many thanks!

Total needed £150R has recently had health issues which mean that she can no longer work. She has two children and fled domestic abuse from the children's father. Mum doesn't have any carpets at home and the house doesn't feel comfortable, so they are not happy inviting people round, which becomes isolating. R would really appreciate your support. Many thanks!

Total needed £120This lady came to us in 2020, during Covid. At this time, she was having trouble with the Landlord, as the Council had miscalculated her benefits. She was harassed daily and this led to her suffering from anxiety and depression. She was also the victim of name calling and abuse from the individuals that were living in the property, which led to her being arrested. Due to no help from any service, this lady has been homeless for three years. We helped by providing three nights Bed and Breakfast accommodation to help her mental health.
