Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

Total needed £130S, a single mother with two young children, is unemployed and in receipt of state welfare benefits. She has had a troubled and unsettled life, due to domestic violence. This, in turn, has caused her to move around from one safe home to another, resulting in extreme financial hardship. S would like to start getting her life back on track without the added stress of her debts hanging over her. Your donations would enable her to apply for a Debt Relief Order and have a fresh start.

Total needed £90This mum and her family have just been rehoused, due to domestic violence from her ex-partner. He is now in prison for threatening behaviour towards the daughter and the drug culture where they lived. While they can take most of their furniture with them, the new house has no carpet or floor covering, so the money is for carpets in the downstairs areas.

Total needed £150Mum and her two children have recently moved into a new home, following a relationship break up. She is struggling with finances and isn't currently working. Mum doesn't have any storage for her or the children. She is currently storing all of their clothes in bags in the living room. We would love to provide mum and her children with a new wardrobe. Total needed £150J is a single mum who recently fled domestic violence and has been given a new home, but had to leave everything behind to start afresh. She lives too far away from a launderette to go and wash clothes. At present, they are having to wear the same clothes for several days at a time. She is on Universal Credit and her family are too far away to be able to help.

Total needed £200M is a victim of modern-day slavery and domestic violence. She is currently living in a supported safe house, but she is ready to move on and live independently. However, her new property doesn't have a fridge freezer. M has a very low income and can't afford to purchase a fridge freezer herself, which means that she won't be able to purchase any food that needs to be kept in the fridge or freezer. This means she won't be able to eat very healthily or affordably, or with any variety.
