Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

We are helping a lady who has mental health issues and an unhappy relationship with alcohol. More than a third of her life has been spent with abusive and violent men and, having recently been locked out of the home she was sharing with her partner, she is now living alone, but without any white goods or furniture. We have been able to source a bed and fridge for her, but she needs a washing machine. Any help that you can give would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Total needed £90We are supporting a mum who has just moved house with her three small children, in order to get away from an abusive relationship. Mum has not slept in her own bed since she left her ex partner, as much of the abuse took place in her bedroom. We would love to buy mum a new mattress, which would enable her to have her own room with a new mattress that does not hold bad memories.

Total needed £150K is a single mother who is living in rented accommodation and currently claiming Universal Credit and Child Benefit. Her partner broke into her house two weeks ago and damaged almost everything in her property, so K is now seeking help to replace some of these items. Total needed £150S is currently sofa surfing, due to homelessness since fleeing domestic violence. She has been run over by a car and sustained a foot injury which has caused three bouts of infections, and makes walking very difficult. She suffers with mental health and is unemployed. Due to the difficulty in walking, a mobile phone would help to enable S to reach out to the services required for the correct support, and to contact her GP for medical support. Ill health and debt are also at the forefront.
